Ms. Charu Munjal has been at the forefront of India’s design evolution over the past decade, through her labour of love, OMA. Started in 2007 as a luxury brand in home décor (lighting, bed, bath, tableware, and wall art) with its flagship outlet at Khan Market, New Delhi’s famed High-street, OMA has grown to 11 luxury stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chandigarh in a short span of time.
The company has developed a fine network of original suppliers both internationally and within India, supported by a design centre, and a highly professionalised supply chain management with a warehouse. This has given a platform to over 500 manufacturers, designers, artists & logistic companies, thereby generating employment and value addition at each stage.
Starting with a small workforce of just 10 people, as on date, the company has over 200 people managing front-end and back-end operations.
Encouraged by the tremendous response to its products, OMA is set to expand across India (Chennai, Pune, Delhi) as well as overseas markets over the next three years, with their turnover crossing INR 90 crores.
